Byron Bay is a small beach
town which is located in the most east point in Australia and near the border
between NSW and QLD.
It is about 2hours driving toward the south from the Gold Coast and it's surrounded by heaps of nature such as the national park and the marine park. The climate is warm through all seasons, therefore it is famous as a traveling destination as well.
Since 1970s, a lot of hippies, surfers, musicians and artists have migrated here from all over the world. So, the town is fully multicultural and has an alternative atmosphere nowadays. This is an unique place which has been created by those people. Especially music and surfing in Byron are very famous in the world and many professional surfers and musicians live in this shire.
Most of the locals intend to be natural and healthy. They are highly aware of the environment, too. There are lots of organic shops, vegetarian foods and kinds of new age shops in the town. The natural and slow energy would invigorate and heal the visitors.
